Consider 50 Cent’s campaign with Street King; for every like, a fresh meal is donated to a needy child. This kind of positive action makes people feel good about themselves, and consequently they are eager to participate more. This increases traffic on your page – and that too for a good cause!
- Polls
Your status updates don’t always have to be interesting or witty enough to get people to contribute; using polls does so automatically, and helps you to gauge reactions to questions you want answered! Facebook’s Questions tool is the best, most effective way to do this.
- Don’t overdo it
If you put up too many updates, it will ultimately end up annoying your fans till they are forced to dislike you and remove your statuses from their newsfeed. Try to keep everything in moderation; whether its updates, polls or paid media!
